Little Solsken Loves.....

Poppy Children is a gorgeous kidswear brand that I first came across a few years ago in a shop called Strickland and Holt (Yarm N. Yorkshire) and I have loved them ever since.
Their unique designs feature the adventures of Poppy and her dog Fred, and adorn many lovely products including dresses, books and greeting cards. 
I particularly like the combination of lifestyle photography mixed with the illustrations bringing together the characters and products.

Thought i'd post a sneak peek as I haven't for a while. This little dude was a doodle that evolved into a hipster mouse with knitted cardigan and over sized glasses. I have been enjoying designing some new characters recently and will reveal some more in future posts.

Mikodesign

I've long been a fan of the lovely brand mikodesign, they are based in the Netherlands and produce hand screen printed products including cute toys, cushions, accessories and decorations. I love the unique, elegant and handmade qualities of mikodesign products. My particular favourite is the circus rabbit with smart bow tie and ringmaster jacket.

Characterful creatures

Lovely characterful creatures and illustrations found on Pinterest. My favourite being the little clay bear wearing an autumnal jumper. I'm currently designing some new characters, hope mine turn out as adorable as this bunch below.
